G5 P25 Dual Band Pager
The Unication G5 is the flagship pager in the G-series lineup, covering VHF or UHF plus 700/800 MHz simultaneously in a single device. Automatic demodulation switches between analog and digital without user input, and each band independently supports P25 Trunking Phase I and II, P25 Conventional, and analog signaling with AES 256-bit encryption.

Overview
The Unication G5 is the most capable pager in the G-series lineup, pairing VHF (136-174 MHz) or UHF (330-520 MHz) with 700/800 MHz (763-776/851-870 MHz) for simultaneous dual-band coverage across the widest frequency range of any Unication device. Agencies transitioning from legacy VHF or UHF infrastructure to modern 700/800 MHz P25 systems can use the G5 during the transition without requiring personnel to carry two pagers. Automatic demodulation detects and switches between analog and digital protocols without user intervention, so responders stay focused on the call rather than managing receiver settings.
Each band independently supports P25 Trunking Phase I (FDMA) and Phase II (TDMA), P25 Conventional, Analog 2-Tone, 5-Tone, MDC-1200, CTCSS, and CDCSS. Priority TGID scan and multi-TGID monitoring run on both bands simultaneously, with full-spectrum scan for P25 trunked systems on each band. RF sensitivity is negative 122 dBm per band with 55 to 65 dB image rejection and audio output exceeding 300 mW at 96 dB SPL with less than 2 percent distortion. The pager stores 32 minutes of voice and 32 minutes of voice memo across 6 receiving modes.
AES 256-bit, DES, and ARC4 encryption support encrypted talk groups on either band. Text messaging, image transfer, and Bluetooth 2.0 and 4.0 for wireless audio and data round out the feature set. The G5 is IP67 waterproof to 3 feet, MIL-STD-810 rated, software-defined for firmware updates, and available with a 2-year standard or 5-year extended warranty.
Key Features
VHF or UHF Plus 700/800 MHz Simultaneously
Pairs VHF (136-174 MHz) or UHF (330-520 MHz) with 700/800 MHz on a single device. Automatic demodulation detects and switches between analog and P25 digital protocols without user input, eliminating manual mode management during active calls.
Independent Dual-Band Scanning
Priority TGID scan, multi-TGID monitoring, and full-spectrum P25 trunked scan operate independently on each band simultaneously. Sensitivity is rated at negative 122 dBm per band with 55 to 65 dB image rejection.
AES 256-Bit Encryption on Both Bands
AES 256-bit, DES, and ARC4 encryption are supported independently on each band. Text messaging, image transfer, and Bluetooth 2.0 audio plus Bluetooth 4.0 data accessories are included.
32 Minutes Voice Storage
A 2,800 mAh lithium-ion battery powers both bands across 6 receiving modes with 32 minutes of stored voice and 32 minutes of voice memo. IP67 waterproof to 3 feet, MIL-STD-810 rated, and software-defined for firmware updates.
