HALO PoC Network

Hytera HALO Nationwide is a subscription-based Push-to-Talk over Cellular service that runs entirely over existing 4G/LTE cellular carrier infrastructure, requiring no radio towers, no FCC frequency licenses, and no repeater or base station maintenance. Organizations activate SIM cards and communicate instantly across unlimited concurrent channels with nationwide coverage wherever LTE or Wi-Fi is available. Automatic automatic handoff between LTE and Wi-Fi keeps communications running when field workers move into indoor environments covered by a building Wi-Fi network.

HALO supports one-to-one individual calls and one-to-many group calls across an unlimited number of call groups, with real-time GPS location tracking on every compatible device. Emergency alarms and lone worker remote monitoring provide safety coverage for isolated field personnel. Remote stun and revive capabilities allow operations managers to disable or reactivate lost, stolen, or misused devices without physical retrieval. Text messaging and image sharing are included alongside PTT voice.

The HALO service is available in two deployment models: HALO Nationwide as a monthly subscription using shared carrier infrastructure, or HALO OnSite and OnSite Plus as customer-owned systems for organizations that require private network control. The HALO Dispatch web application provides browser-based dispatch, GPS management, and fleet oversight for all HALO devices. VEI can pair the HALO network with the full range of Hytera PoC devices including the MNC360 in-vehicle mobile, the PNC360S compact handheld, and the PNC380S multimedia handheld.
